Pros and cons of Swivl Legacy app for iPhone and iPad

Swivl Legacy app good for

The app is pretty good, clean layout. Cant wait to buy the Swivl device :)
Works smoothly and easily with my Swivl. No problems at all. Love my Swivl so far!:)
iPhone 4s testing with base and this app is working great. The base unit is well made and pretty cool!! Smooth panning, Im happy! Nice work.
The unit is solid! Exactly as I was hoping. Good price. I can see a better vertical tracker in version two in 6 months or a year. It gets 5 stars for the money. The app could use one additional function - to be able to turn the horizontal tracking on or off from the remote. Does the remote have the ability to double click the Action button as a separate command?
This is one of the slickest and most useful resources I have come across in a long time. The app is a companion to the Swivl cameraman accessory which allows you to video tape presentations and lectures using your iPhone or iPad Mini. Incredibly easy to record quality video feeds and share them with a click of a button. Cant wait for the iPad version!
When you record videos outside for the entire night to early morning, the screen will turn white and it only detects the entire night. I would suggest if you want to capture videos during the day time, I would suggest everyone to wake up early in the morning to start your recording 30 before sunrise to get good clear daylight shots. I like the long recording.

Some bad moments

I have used the Swivl to record on about 10 occasions, and have encountered this problem twice. It looks like its recording. The red lights were on on the base and the presenter mic, the screen showed it was recording (the timer was counting up and the record light was flashing). After I finished recording, there was no video. The app data on iTunes shows a folder for the day and time I recorded, but no video. So frustrating when youre recording something that cannot be duplicated. Its a nice idea, but not worth it if it isnt consistent.
